SALAD AND BUNS FETISH!

I like the idea of putting together something really quick and easy, I don’t like overly long cooking or baking. It should take me 45 minutes in the kitchen on busy days……

The salad is basic, tomatoes, shredded cabbage, red onions, local green lettuce. With garlic and olive oil dressing.

Whole some mini buns

2 cups all-purpose flour (self rising flour)

1 packet of instant yeast

pinch salt

smidgen of cinnamon

1 table-spoon sugar

1 tablespoon olive oil

Method:

Mix together in a large bowl to allow for expansion, after half hour (1/2) roll into mini balls and sit for 15-20 minutes covered with a damp towel, bake at 350 for 20 minutes. I love these with Jam, custard for my sweet tooth, of course!

THOUGHTS…..THINKING AWAY

It’s been ten (10) days now of my smoothie blast-a-ton. Or something to that effect, truly it’s been a wretched period, with little to no breakouts on my face, just the random  show-casers who feel the need to be seen, when clearly they were supposed to be hidden; hence the action .

But, it’s all good , happy reporting that I feel less bloatish (yes that’s my word) and somewhat weightless. Is this what I really want to say right now? I feel light, extremely so. Morning routine/ day routine

1 8oz cup of turmeric tea a bit on the warm side

2 Eggs scrambled, or sunny side up/ cranberry pancakes  with English breakfast tea

1 glass of water (really an effort here, no kidding :))

8oz pasta or rice with peas, maybe some veggies depending and cucumber salad

more water, with much effort

1 cup ginger tea

5 crix  that’s a biscuit  or a slice of my special bread

more water

oats with milk chocolate

8oz cup of turmeric tea still on the warm side

Now after a full day I am left with a desire to get fit, and a desire to eat, and to my way of thinking I choose to eat, as sooner than later… with the right frame of mind I can overcome everything else, and still be healthy  .

 

Age-Defying ( well some say it is )


“Turmeric, also called curcumin, is a staple of many curries and helps reduce skin irritation.” this spice flavored miracle  found in Indian cuisine. Curry powder, added   to your diet and your supplement plan  can  prevent further sun damage to your skin. It is s at the very least an added bonus.

Eat a dish of curry , not as above  lol….my word !! In chicken  or fish with Roti or Rice at least twice  (2) a week and watch the results.

 

Not only is this spice good for your skin! It tastes delicious in meals as well.

Quick And Easy Vegetable Soup


There are times like today when I am at my laziest and cooking seems a task too much even for me to do. So I decided to make this easy veggie soup with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients:
 
1 large Irish Potato
1 small carrot
1 cup of squash chopped
1/2 cup noodles
1 small bay leaf 
1 tabs olive oil
red pepper flakes
salt and pepper to taste
1 garlic clove
1/2 of a small onion 
 

Saute :

Onions, garlic, pepper flakes, till translucent,  then add vegetables and bay leaf  with the rest of the condiments bring to a boil for 15 minutes, then a gentle simmer for another 15 minutes and serve with garlic bread or without …your choice.

Like the Title, before you get the main course, you are  served appetizers to ready the taste buds for the coming goodness, hmm  all of a sudden …..I am thinking chocolate and banana pancakes with  lime zest for topping..
